Music Therapy
Individual Music Therapy

Individual therapy is recommended for clients who have specialized needs that may not be adequately met in a group setting.  The treatment process begins with a music therapy evaluation to determine if music therapy is an appropriate intervention, determining areas of need, and the development of an individualized treatment plan. Each music therapy session is then designed to meet the goals and objectives outlined in the treatment plan in a way that will bring about functional change and growth. Sessions may last 30 to 45 minutes.

Group Music Therapy

Group therapy is recommended for clients who have needs that can be addressed within a group setting. There are two group options to choose from:

Individuals will have one group goal with their peers with no additional individualized treatment planning.

Option 2:

Individuals will have individualized treatment plans with 2-4 goals and objectives which the Music Therapist will address and track during each group.  This is typically recommended for children with developmental concerns and/or special needs.
